The OnBoard Scheme

OnBoard is the RYA's junior sailing programme. It offers young sailors the opportunity to improve their skills in a safe, fun and structured environment through games and fun activities on and off the water.

Inclusive and welcoming, our Saturday morning sessions are open to any young sailor who has achieved Stage 2 and above. We aim to provide a consistent teaching environment which some youngsters can find especially helpful.

The fun starts at 9.30am, you may wish to arrive earlier in order to change and rig a boat. We finish at 12.30pm. These sessions are free to members, and boats can be hired at the usual rates.

The final sessions for 2023 are: 23rd September, 30th September, and 7th October. 

No payment is necessary but you do need to book a place as numbers are limited. Go to booking page.
