Assistant Instructor course: 8th-9th April
Attending this course will enable you to assist with teaching beginners the basics of learning to sail. You will learn how to rig, launch and recover most of our club boats, be able to deliver a short session such as teaching knots, what to wear for sailing or how to understand a weather forecast, and you'll also be able to take out beginners in our bigger boats. This is open to experienced sailors of all ages who are keen to volunteer and help with training.
Easter courses: 8th-11th April
We will be providing courses for both juniors and adults, and are especially keen to hear from families wishing to learn together.
The Junior refresher course is aimed at helping those who can already sail to build their skills or finish off stages they have started but not completed. Participants must have Stage 2 or equivalent. This should prepare them for the next stages later in the year. Almost like a warm up for the sailing season. Book Junior refresher
The Learn to sail course will cover the RYA Start Sailing and RYA Basic Skills courses, taking you from complete beginner to competent sailor. It is suitable for adults and juniors aged 14 or older. Book Learn to sail
