Huntingdon Radio Yacht Club
HRYC was set up to allow owners of radio-controlled yachts to sail and race along with others with the same interest.
The yachts sailed are a mix of DF95s - which is a great entry level boat to the sport, and International One Metre - which is a class sailed all over the world. Both of these boats are great fun to sail and if set up correctly are very competitive.
The club uses a handicapping start system so that beginners can compete with the more experienced guys. We offer help, guidance and Training.
HRYC are a special membership category and sail on Hunts Sailing Club's lake, where they position their buoys each week for racing.
