REGISTRATION OPENS FRIDAY 12 MARCH at 6PM
Dates: 7th, 8th, 9th April
Timing: 9.30am to 1.30pm (maybe later if good weather)
Cost: £75.00 juniors, £135.00 adults for the three days. Club boats will be for hire at £10 per day.
Minimum age: 12, maximum age none!
You must have Stage 3/Level 2 or equivalent experience. It is important you are able to rig, launch and recover from capsize with minimal assistance.
Kit: You MUST have either a full (long legs and sleeves) wetsuit, or a drysuit, plus sailing shoes or boots. Buoyancy aids are required. Water shoes, crocs, trainers etc are not warm enough. You must bring warm clothing to change into and hot drinks.
This course aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to get started in club racing. As well as learning how to start and finish races, you will get find out how to set your boat up for various wind strengths, gain confidence with basic racing rules and learn how to find the fastest, most efficient way around the race course. There will be lots of on the water activity as well as some onshore learning. Note this is not an RYA certified course.

There are 12 places available. In the case of over subscription preference will be given to those who have not previously done this course.
